photos taken July 22nd 2023 of pink echinacea and purple liatris.

This week my echinacea (despite stiff competition) is working hard to steal the front-garden show.  But also, front and back, my liatris are blooming!  I’m not sure why I like liatris so much, but I do, and Yay! they’re here!

Looking back 1-2 weeks and 1-2 years confirms that this is definitely the time of the liatris!  (Also echinacea.)

Looking back 2-4 weeks and 2-4 years highlights the echinacea a little bit more.  (Also the red daylilies, which are wonderful stalwarts this time of year.)
