Weekly Garden Snapshot: 2023 week 31

This week things in the garden are getting a little leggy and/or drying out in the heat of the Colorado summer.  But, the fruits of the summer are also starting to appear, so the birds and raccoons are probably happy at least.

Looking back 1-2 weeks and 1-2 years is trying to hint at more roses to come, but I’m not so certain that’s what this particular summer has in store.  We’ll see.

Looking back 2-4 weeks and 2-4 years also says some pretty sunflowers are on their way, which might not be so far off the mark.  (They always bloom relatively late in my garden because it’s so shady.)

…This week my garden is a bit rumpled, but doing pretty fine.
