Well. Like all the ‘best’, most truly boggling and awful of code bugs, this one was extremely simple and stupid and makes me feel like now I ought to get my eyes examined…

Here’s how allergy skin testing for me usually goes. At some point, the technician always says, “I’m sorry.” (Mostly because I’m massively allergic to all the grasses, but also, you know, most of everything else, too.)
Today I got to add a new food allergy to my list. Aren’t I just a lucky duck? (It’s bell peppers.)
I think my imagination space is getting too crowded. Not with cool ideas, but with just too many types of things. Like, I’ll think “What’s a cool story idea I can noodle on today?” And then, “Oh – an item from my housekeeping list. That is not what I was reaching for.”
I seem to have a weird pattern forming here of luminescent kraken…
Just finished re-inhaling The Fall of Ile-Rien trilogy by Martha Wells. I think I loved it even better this third time around.
Did I say my garden had all turned brown? But you see, daisies don’t believe in turning all the way brown. Daisies dream of becoming the green plague that will one day cover the Earth. (Maybe in partnership with vinca – it depends whether they’re forced into a stalemate or not.)
They say write the book you want to read. The problem with that is, when you’re having a bad day and things just aren’t jelling, you really just want to be able to sit down and read that book, not have to go through the slog of writing it.
When’s the last time you played with milkweed seeds? They’re so fluffy and soft!
My husband is awesome.
